Featured At San Francisco's Park Branch Library:
Karma bonus points to Diamond Dave for a hosting job of cosmic proportions during my June 9th feature. It was fun and the audience was a joy. And cheers to Kat and Richard who brought both warmth and food for the poets. Many other poets pitched in to help with set up and clean up. Thanks also to the library staff for their selfless organizational work. And special thanks to Murray for her support and encouragement.

Part Two Of Future Amnesia Now Available:
Part Two of Future Amnesia is just a little "deeper," than Part One. For instance, it actually contains love poems, (nice viewing for those who tire of my more cynical side, although it still has plenty of cynicism too). This book will also remain in the "Links" section on the upper left of the home page. As always, this complete booklet is available free of charge in full chapbook format by US mail or in PDF format by email. Use the contact data on the home page to get yours.

Published In IPTRC:
The International Poetry Translation And Research Centre of China published a love poem that still remains dear to my heart, one I wrote in the mid-90s in San Francisco called "On The Search For God In Detroit." This massive tome is due out in September of 2009. To see the blog site representing this huge undertaking out of the People's Republic of China, please go to: http://iptrc.blogspot.com/2009_05_10_archive.html

Mel C. Thompson was one of many features at the Berkeley Poetry Festival which was held on June 6th, 1PM-4PM in front of the remains of the old Cody's Books, near Telegraph at Haste.  The invocation was given by the world-famous Wes Scoop Nisker, and the event was hosted by the inimitable Phil T. Nails.  Other readers and luminaries included Steve Arntson, Dale Jensen, Joyce Jenkins and Richard Silberg.
